Elise is getting to be so big and has learned so much lately! She knows a handful of letters and recognizes them when she sees them (A, B for baby, D, E, F, I, L, M, N for nice, O, P, S, T, Z), has expanded her animal sound repertoire, and improved her vocabulary. She has added many words including: Daddy (she has JUST started to call James daddy--previously anyone who took care of her was mommy), house, wa-wa (water), baby, sorry, ta-du (thank you), pre-pease (pretty please), ha dog (hot dog), up, out, owie, waffle, eh-mo (Elmo), fix, ba-baa (Martha, from Martha Speaks), Why (Super Why), nice, none, and many more. It seems like she surprises us with a new word every day. It makes it a lot of fun.
She still is quite mischievous at times and always looking for fun. As you can see from the next picture, she attacked James and covered him (and herself!) with stickers as he was trying to quietly read a book. She was so pleased with herself and had such a lot of fun!

Next, is a video of Elise playing ball with Daddy outside in our backyard. I love her laugh!
