I might have created a monster. I have introduced Elise to the delicious world of cookies. Not just any cookies--messy, chocolate cookies! I have a sweet tooth and was having cookies for a snack, and I ended up giving in and sharing with Elise. She LOVED it, and you can tell just how much by the mess she made. She's our very own little Blackbeard.

Now, whenever she sees me with something sweet--cookies, chocolate, ice cream, you name it--she crawls over and begs like a little puppy dog or else opens her mouth like a baby bird waiting for me to share with her. Or, if I'm not very forthcoming, she steals it out of my hands, giggles, and then eats it herself!
The next pictures are a week or so old, the first weekend in March we went to the Washington DC Temple with some friends. We ended up going up the night before so that we could stay in a hotel room and have a place to watch the kids while we took turns going to the temple. It was fun, and so much easier than driving up and back the same day. I think it was well worth the money for a hotel room--much easier that way with kids.

Here's our family with the temple in the background. Elise is a messy girl--she's wearing lunch on her clothes and her face!
The weather was wonderful--warm and slightly overcast. It was a good weekend for the temple.
